Derivatives of this classic edged weapon were originally produced in Granada as early as the 13th Century. Variations of this sword were produced throughout the Iberian Peninsula for over 200 years by both Christians and Muslims, but they were most known as a preferred weapon of the Muslims during the Crusades.
This beautiful replica has elaborately engraved furniture and a horseshoe shaped quillon.
