I used these Lone Ranger Dummy Chrome Cartridges in my John Wayne rough out rig , the style that he started wearing in Hondo {1953}, but the later one was made of a lighter shade of leather. But still a rough out with a brown Chapet and billet and cartridge loops. He always wore a longer bullet dead in the center of this rig. I don't know why but I assume it was so if he was in a gun battle with let's say Indians, etc., he would know when he reached halfway down his bullet loops, and he would know that he only had half the number of cartridge left in his rig. Today there are many copies of this gun belt with or without the brown holster for sell. But my talented sweet wife did mind and did just as good a job as there's is. I thank her for the rig and I thank you guys for the bullets. They fit the cartridge loops perfectly and we didn't even have them to go by yet.
